About ICEdge 2025 R&D Showcase and Student Forum

The R&D Showcase and Student Forum at ICEdge 2025 is a dynamic, inclusive, and interactive track designed for industry experts, undergraduate and postgraduate students to present emerging ideas, early-stage research, and innovative insights in edge computing. It offers a supportive environment to gain peer feedback, spark lively discussions, and engage with both academic and industry professionals.

Submission Guidelines

• Abstract Format: Submit a short abstract (250–500 words) covering:
• Research problem and motivation
• Methodology and preliminary findings of the research
• If applicable, details with photograph of your hardware demo:
• Prototype or system description
• Setup requirements (e.g., power, space)
• How attendees can interact (e.g., hands-on use, walk-through)
• Eligibility: Open to industry and undergraduate, master’s, and PhD students currently enrolled.
• Selection Criteria: Approximately 20 entries will be chosen based on clarity, relevance to ICEdge themes (e.g., TinyML, AIoT, secure edge systems), and potential to generate lively discussion. Hardware demos are highly encouraged.

1. Visit the ICEdge website and navigate to the “R&D Showcase” section under the Program menu.
2. Click on Submit Abstract
   and follow the registration and submission prompts.
3. Upload your abstract in PDF format.

Important Dates

• Abstract Submission Deadline: 31^st October 2025 (extended)
• Notification of Acceptance: 15^th November 2025.
• Forum Sessions: Held during ICEdge 2025 on 18^th December 2025
